If you’re in the internet marketing world, you may or may not have heard about The AWOL Experience.
We’re only just through Season 1, and the first ever reality show in the internet marketing industry has become an instant hit with viewers.
The AWOL Experience is 4 seasons of jam-packed entertaining, yet educational episodes of 32 online entrepreneurs witnessing what it’s like to live a million dollar lifestyle.
Season 2 just dropped, and I’ll give you 10 dope reasons why you shouldn’t miss an episode.
10 Dope Reasons Why You Should Watch Season 2 of The AWOL Experience
1. Two ridiculously lavish hillside mansions
The AWOL Experience was filmed in Phuket, Thailand, an absolutely breath-taking island in the Andaman Sea off of the western coast of the mainland.
To make the experience even sweeter, the cast stayed in two lavish, plush hillside mansions overlooking the blue sea, with the green jungle right behind.
The houses were $40,000 per month and consisted of ultra comfortable bedrooms with personal balconies and the most trendy bathrooms I’ve ever seen in my life . . . oh, and a wide open living room with a view that’ll drop your jaw.
2. Crazy stunts in infinity pools
One of my favorite parts of the AWOL mansions in Phuket were the infinity pools.
There was a saltwater pool and a regular water one as well.
Personally, I had never seen an infinity pool before, and I was surprisingly fascinated by the waterfall aspect of them.
My AWOL buddies were pulling some straight up stuntman tricks in the infinity pools.
I’m talking about jumping off of the balconies of their rooms and the roofs of the houses into the pools!
Looks like we were havin’ fun, huh?
3. Gettin’ real muddy
The most intense part of my AWOL Experience was by far ATV riding through the jungle.
Believe it or not, it was my first time driving 4-wheeler.
At first, I was a little skeptical, because I had no idea how fast the ATV’s were capable of going. But I remembered what a mentor of mine once said: The magic happens in the fear.
So I decided to let go, and let loose.
The result was the most exhilarating few hours I could remember ever having. I had never felt so present and in the Now.
And things got muddy . . . extremely muddy.
Normally, I’m a guy who likes to stay clean and fresh; but for some reason, I was particularly proud to be dirty as shit.
I felt so alive, I could’ve gone for another couple hours letting the ATV rip, splashing through the hot mud, gettin’ airborne . . . it was awesome.
4. Big elephants and an even BIGGER Buddha
I’m from Memphis, Tennessee.
The only time I ever saw elephants was at the zoo or the circus.
I get to Thailand and see that people actually have these big SOB’s as pets!
As we rip through the jungle on our sick ATV’s, we see a bunch of elephants just chillin’ on the sides of the roads like it’s nothing.
I was blown away.
I didn’t know whether to be afraid or what . . . so I chose or what.
We hopped off the ATV’s to snap up some pics of us with the big friendly elephants.
I think they like me, what you think?
In addition to kickin’ with the big elephants in the jungle, we ATV’d up the mountain to the Big Buddha.
And it ain’t called “Big” for nothing . . . it’s huge.
The Big Buddha of Thailand rests at the top of a mountain between Chalong Bay and Kata Beach.
It’s by far the biggest statue I’ve ever seen in my life.
Check it out.

5. Snorkeling at untouched islands
I had my first snorkeling adventure on The AWOL Experience (yes, I had a lot of firsts during my time in Thailand). I thoroughly enjoy it too.
The water was so clear, I could see the fast little fish and the colorful coral from the inside yacht . . . oh yea, did I mention we were on a luxury yacht?
Being on a yacht like that, with such inspired and inspiring people . . . with a scenery like that, it made me realize how grateful I am for the position I’m in and my journey to this point.
I don’t know, I guess it was something about looking out into the Andaman Sea, and the beautiful islands that made me do some deep thinking.
But back to the snorkeling . . . it was an amazing experience.
I saw fish of all kinds, and got scratched repeatedly by sharp corals, but I loved it.
We saw a school of dolphins swimming in front of the yacht, diving in, and popping out of the water (just like how you see it on TV, it was crazy).
And we topped it off by chillin’ on a small, quiet island in the Andaman Sea for a while
6. Giving back to hundreds of Thai kids affected by deadly tsunami
The most humbling part of my AWOL experience was hands down the day we teamed up with Phuket Has Been Good To Us to paint classrooms at The Baan Kamala School on Kamala Beach.
The school was destroyed by the deadly tsunami of 2004 that wrecked much of Thailand.
Since being reconstructed by the King in 2007, the school’s classrooms have started to deteriorate a little bit.
As a community of entrepreneurs dedicated to giving back, Project AWOL got together and painted classrooms for the kids to improve their learning environment.
Even though I didn’t get a chance to meet the kids we served that day, I left so fulfilled. So complete.
A very humbling and satisfying experience without a doubt.
7. Learn how to structure your business (5 Jar System)
How structured is your business?
Let me share something with you I learned on The AWOL Experience . . .
The most important part of running a business is knowing your numbers.
How much of your money is going where . . .
Are you even keeping track of all of your finances?
- living necessities (rent, bills, etc.),
- business expenses (advertising, etc.),
- education (personal development, training)
- give (charity, tithes, etc.)
- play (fun, fun, fun)
On Season 2 of The AWOL Experience, we learned how to structure both your business and life based on the 5 Jar System.
You’ll have to watch the show to get an in depth explanation about each of the 5 jars and how to apply the system to your business.
8. Real people having real breakthroughs
The AWOL Experience allowed 7 entrepreneurs on Season 2 to see what it’s like to live a million dollar lifestyle . . . from incredible mansions to luxury yachts.
We learned about philanthropy, budgeting, structure, and much, much more.
The most moving part of this awesome reality show is the personal breakthroughs that the cast members have.
As for me, I finally realized that life doesn’t have to get any worse than this.
And that I can create the lifestyle that I want for me and my family with my imagination, determination, and taking action on my goals with a structured plan.
You’ll also see the internal discoveries my fellow cast members JC Bince, Dan Stein, Kathy Mills, Donald Clark, Sam Furman, and Amanda Reimer made.
9. People LOVE all of the episodes
Season 1 got a raving response from fans and viewers worldwide, and Season 2 will only be bigger.
The episodes are full of entertaining content that also educates you from a business perspective and opens your eyes to the possibilities.
People love to be empowered, and The AWOL Experience is one empowering reality show.

10. It’s something fresh and positive to watch
Don’t you get tired of watching the same ole stuff on TV all the time?
The AWOL Experience brings a fresh and positive vibe to reality television.
Sure, the nail-breaking chick fights and back-stabbing drama that surrounds the Love & Hip Hops and Jersey Shores and Basketball Wives is fun to watch . . . but it’s beneficial to watch something that’s educational and motivational sometimes.
Plus, The AWOL Experience was filmed by the same Hollywood crew that brought you The Shark Tank, Extreme Home Makeover, and The Bachelor.
It was a $250,000 production and the quality is unbelievable.
This show just may change your life like it did mine.
So, there you have it–10 dope reasons why you should definitely watch Season 2 of The AWOL Experience.
The mindset shifts and transformations that we all went through on Season 2 are worth watching alone . . .
But it’s just straight up fun stuff to watch.
Here’s the direct link to Episode 1 of Season 2, where I, along with the other 6 cast members for the season are introduced.
